I recently updated via my Twitter homepage that I will not post my ongoing activities via Twitter due to the GTalk IM bug. It was much easier to update my posts to Twitter when I could 'chat' through the Twitter IM. The interface was much smaller and cleaner via GTalk.
However, it appears that Twitter is very much integrated with the rest of my blogging and social networking platforms and whatever I posted in the other social media websites was automatically updated in Twitter. I have inserted my Plaxo badge widget as a reference.
So the irony is, although I am not directly updating my activities via my Twitter homepage or even my Twitter account, Twitter is receiving RSS feeds about my activities online and is posting my updates through Twitter to the rest of my syndicated websites.
So I will resume my faith in Twitter for the time being, although there are reported bugs in being able to 'follow' threads. As for Plaxo, there is a premium fee required to use their tools, so if you wish to build a network for business connectivity, it is pretty limited.
